With over 25 years of experience in the footwear industry, Oliver Volte has developed a diverse skill set covering product development, B2B and B2C sales, as well as international sales and marketing strategies. She holds a Bachelor's degree in International Marketing and an Executive MBA, she was awarded the "Coupe de Cœur du Jury" on the Hackathon day for her outstanding performance. Oliver is currently pursuing a DBA, with research focused on military boot fitting. As the founder of Oliverland Consulting, she leverages her expertise to help businesses thrive in the global footwear market.

​Working Experience
Footwear Industry Expertise and Innovation
Oliver began her career as a product development assistant, gaining extensive knowledge of footwear types, styles, and construction techniques. Later, as a Sales Manager, she worked closely with a private atelier, collaborating with a team to develop footwear samples, including leather hiking boots and casual sneakers. Although primarily focused on sales, Oliver actively participated in the product development process, from design to material sourcing. This hands-on experience gave her a deep understanding of the footwear development cycle. Years later, she applied this expertise to create an eco-friendly indoor shoe for children under the Bgreen brand, using sustainable materials like bamboo.

B2B and B2C Sales Expertise in Footwear
As Global Merchandising Manager in a B2B startup during the 1990s, Oliver led a sales team and drove the development of a highly successful product niche. Under her leadership, the company’s annual turnover grew from 100K€ in the first year to nearly 2 million € in less than five years. She managed every aspect of the process, from prototyping and order negotiations to production control and export logistics. As her career evolved, Oliver gained valuable B2C experience by working in a retail store for the renowned footwear brand PARABOOT, known for its high-quality shoes made with Goodyear Welt construction. This experience deepened her understanding of retail strategies and consumer behavior, complementing her established B2B expertise in the premium footwear sector.

​Bachelor's Degree in International Marketing
Oliver Volte enhanced her expertise by obtaining a Bachelor's degree in International Marketing in 2020, which provided her with additional skills in global marketing strategies. Oliver completed her Executive MBA, where she gained practical experience in digital marketing and project management. As Product Owner in a team project, she contributed to the development of a mobile application, using digital tools like HTML, JavaScript, SQL, and Jira. Her performance during the Hackathon earned her the "Coupe de Cœur du Jury" award, further expanding her expertise in leveraging digital tools to achieve business objectives.​

Currently, Oliver is pursuing a DBA, with her research focusing on military boot fitting. Her work aims to provide solutions to reduce foot injuries by improving boot sizing and comfort, applying her expertise in marketing and product development to the military sector.
